Product Overview
HiPath 4500 belongs to the HiPath 4000 platform family and shares software, interfaces, and business applications with HiPath 4300. It combines the reliability of traditional circuit-switched telephony with the flexibility of IP networking in a single system: you can connect legacy lines using digital and analog interface cards or extend extensions across a wide-area network via IP distribution nodes.
The system scales in a modular fashion. The control unit supports dual-mode configuration, while the power supply and battery pack can be selected based on redundancy requirements. Multi-branch enterprises can manage all nodes from a single location. Each node is equipped with interface boards sized for local business needs. Once deployed, the application serves all employees across the network.
